'Orange Is the New Black' Season 2 premiere date and trailer

"Orange Is the New Black" Season 2 has a premiere date: The dark comedy will return to Netflix on Friday, June 6.

The teaser trailer for the new season gives hints of life behind prison bars is returning to its old strangeness. While the first hint of this announcement was seen at the end of "House of Cards" Season 2, the show's Twitter account also confirmed the news on Saturday (Feb. 15).

Like all Netflix series, "OITNB" will make its full season available at once, with 13 episodes available for online streaming on the premiere date.

'Black Sails' Toby Stephens: 'Pirate captains have to be feared'

black-sails-toby-stephens-on-set-starz.jpgThe captain of a pirate ship must define tough guy. How do you perceive your character in "Black Sails"?

Toby Stephens: It's about survival, and if you were a pirate captain, you had to be feared. They had to develop their own PR. You had to be this scary figure because otherwise you would be gobbled up by your crew or the next merchant ship that attacked. There is that underneath. And I think he's got this anger, and that is driving him as well.

Zap2it: Were you schooled in pirate lore?

Toby Stephens: I really knew very little, and I knew there was a golden age of piracy in terms of the Caribbean and Bermuda and the Bahamas. That only lasted a very short period of time, and it was initially encouraged by Britain because it interrupted French and Spanish trade. It was in our interest. I didn't really know the details. I didn't know beyond that. What I knew was what I had seen in movies or read in books about the mythology, rather like Arthurian mythology, which developed in the 1800s.

Zap2it: What about these stories captured you?

Toby Stephens: You know you are going to go into battle as you are catching up with that ship. They know they are going to have to (attack the ship) and that sense of danger. I had never seen that before. It was always people swinging on ropes and romanticized, so I didn't know anything about the nitty-gritty about piracy.

'Helix': Who is Jeri Ryan's Constance Sutton in 'Survivor Zero'?

helix-jeri-ryan-constance-sutton-survivor-zero-syfy.JPG"Helix" upped the threat factor in "Survivor Zero" with the addition of Jeri Ryan as Constance Sutton from Corporate. From the moment Constance stepped off her helicopter, the woman was a menacing mystery.

So who is she?

Obviously, Constance is a bad lady. She is, at the very least, a psychopath of both the business and scientific variety. At worst ... Well, let's just say she has your standard, flashy-silver eyes and dental care that involves the use of an electric sander.

It probably isn't good to forget her "No one gets out alive" order either. That's not very nice, especially when she wants to start with Julia.

On top of all of this, Constance is played by Ryan, an actress who seems to almost specialize in the "I might be evil but I'm definitely pretty so it's OK" variety.

We can thus establish that Constance is a bad woman, but what does she want other than a mysterious cure for whatever this disease actually is? Surely she wants something more than a (violent) hookup with Balleseros.

It may take more than one episode to unravel the mystery that is Constance Sutton.

'Arrow' Season 2 photos: The Clock King and an awkward dinner in 'Time of Death'

"Arrow" Season 2 is about to get a lot more awkward in "Time of Death." Not only is there a deadly foe, The Clock King (Robert Knepper), but there is also the fact that Oliver and Sara have gotten back together.

Photos from the episode make this very clear.

The Lances throw a family dinner to welcome Sara (Caity Lotz) back home.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-1.jpgOliver (Stephen Amell) comes too.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-2.jpgUnfortunately, this results in a rather awkward situation between the sisters.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-3.jpgIs it enough to drive Laurel (Katie Cassidy) back to drugs?

arrow-time-of-death-cw-4.jpgThe new Lance family bliss, however, seems to be working out well for Officer Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and his ex-wife, Dinah (Alex Kingston).

arrow-time-of-death-cw-5.jpgMeanwhile, a new threat comes in the form of William Tockman, the Clock King.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-6.jpgHis clever technology manages to infiltrate even the Arrow lair. Because of this -- and because Oliver and Sara are getting so close again -- Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) feels the need to prove her worth.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-8.jpgThe Clock King has a moment of triumph.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-9.jpgThis is likely because the Canary has not yet struck.

arrow-time-of-death-cw-10.jpgWhen she does, things go badly for the villain.
